Paul and the crew raced with heavy hearts last night at West Plains Speedway for both the Tracer family and the Grubbs family.
Paul managed to bypass Friday and Saturday night qualifying races after transferring into the main event on Thursday night. His fourth place success earned him a fifth row start for Saturday night. Paul worked the bottom of the track for fifteen laps as he battled with the 8H of Hughes for the ninth spot. He would finally take over after losing three positions getting sideways out of turn four.
The last twenty laps of the race went caution free as cars started to pull off the track. The right-rear tire eventually went away, but Paul managed to salvage it for a ninth place finish.
After the events that unfolded Friday night at Malden which resulted in a fatality, the team has decided to take some time off and recollect themselves. Any future races have not been fully determined, but fans will be notified of schedule changes via Facebook, Twitter, and ReederRacing.com.
Paul and the Reeder family would like to send their condolences to the Tracer’s and the Grubbs’ in their time of need.
